Martha was born in 1770. She passed away in 1854.

Martha B. Soule was born in Hillsdale, Columbia, New York on 15 August 1754 to Ebenezer Soule and his wife, Mercy Foote Soule. She met Enos Howard who was living in Hillsdale and may have been born there. Martha and Enos were married in Hillsdale, Columbia, New York in 1783. As stated by their descendant Henry Clay Young "In 1783 he [Enos Howard] was married to Martha B. Soule at Hillsdale, N.Y., the ceremony being performed by Rev. Jepo Clark, pastor of the Spencertown Presbtyrerian Church." [from: The Descendants of Enos Howard of Duanesburg, N.Y. by Henry Clay Young, Jr.] They moved to Duanesburg, Schenectady, New York about 1790 between the births of their sons Ebenezer Howard and John E. Howard. The last home of Enos and Martha Howard is still standing and on the National Register of Historic Places. Martha was living with her son George Washington Howard and his wife Sarah Ketcham Howard who lived on part of the original farm in a much larger house and died there in Duanesburg, Schenectady, New York. Martha B. Soule Howard was the mother of Isaac Howard, Sarah Howard Shannon Davidson, Ebenezer Howard, John E. Howard, Rev.
