Biography
Horace was the son of Edgar Clarke Huckabee and Kathryn Soule. He attended Texas A&M University, University of Texas, and University of Chicago, and served in the Army Air Corps in World War I. He was an assistant U.S. attorney with the Federal Court, and was elected as district attorney of Harris county.
