Biography

Hulda Soule was born 27 Sep 1736 the daughter of Aaron Jr. and Lydia.^[1]

Captain Thomas Church of Pembroke (Scituate per V.R. Pembroke^[2]) married Mrs. Huldah Soul of Pembroke Feb. 24, 1760, in Pembroke. The intention was recorded as "Mrs. Hulde Sole of Pembrook",^[3]

Mrs Huldah Soule Church was born 27 Sep 1736 in Pembroke, Plymouth County, Massachusetts and died 31 May 1802 (aged 65) in Kingston, Plymouth County. She was buried in the Old Burying Ground in Kingston

Probate

The will of Huldah Church, of Kingston, widow was dated 26 November 1796 and proved on 14 July 1802 in Plymouth. She mentioned her friend, Sarah Mitchell, her nephews, Pelham Brewster, Nathan Dwelley, Aaron Soule, and her brother John Soule. She appointed Luke Wadsworth to be her executor.^[5]

Her inventory was taken on 7 October 1802 in Kingston. Her real estate was set out to Pelham Brewster, Nathan Dwelley, and Aaron Soule.^[6]

In 1803, an account of her estate by Luke Wadsworth was recorded which included the improvement of the real estate, cash received, funeral charges, gravestones, charges in her last sickness, debts paid, appraisers, legacies paid, and administration fees.^[7]
