Homer Elmer Spears was born on July 30, 1898, in Toccoa, Stephens, Georgia, United States, son of Clifton Cimeon Spears (1871–1950) and Margaret Missouri Camp (1872–1951). [1] [2] [3]
He married Hettie Mae Biggs (1901–1960) in 1922 in Abbeville, South Carolina. [4] [5] [6] [7]
Homer died on December 20, 1972, in Anderson, South Carolina, United States, aged 74. [8] He is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Anderson, South Carolina. [9]
