Biography
Johann was born in 1829. He was the son of Johann Staib and Maria Blass. He passed away in 1914. His obituary, which is included with the San Francisco Area Funeral Home Records link below, says he was survived by his widow, Dora K. Staib, and their children Frank C., Annie D., George, Lena, Herman F., William M., Charles L., Dorothy K. & Minnie R. Staib. It also says he was a native of Germany, aged 84 years, 6 months, & 7 days. His last residence was at 409 Clayton Street.
