Biography

Mrs. Myrtle Sigler, 96, of 508 Second Avenue, Brunswick, died Saturday, March 24, at her home. She was the wife of the late Dewey L Sigler, Sr. Born March 31, 1904 in Stanley, VA, she was the daughter of Wilmer and Mary Dovel Stoneberger. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Manthos of Charles town, WV, and Elaine Heffner of Petersville, two sons Thomas E Sigler and wife Nonie of Knoxville and Donald L Sigler and wife Tressie of Jefferson, daughter-in-law Bessie Sigler of Brunswick, one sister Bessie Mitchell of Brunswick, 33 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.

Mrs Sigler was preceded in death by one daughter, Marie Pearell, and two sons, Paul E Sigler, and Dewey L Sigler, Jr, two sons-in law, Frank Pearelll and Edward Heffner, five sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call from 9 am to 9 pm Wednesday March 28 at John T Williams funeral home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday March 29 at 11 am at the funeral home, with Nonie Sigler officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery< Lovetsville, Va.
