The funeral will be 1:30pm Thursday in Carson Funeral Home, Maquoketa, for Floyd C. Streets, 84, of Maquoketa, who died Tuesday in Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa....
Mr. Streets was born June 7, 1901 in Jackson Count, to Peasley and Jessie Jacobs Streets. He was a farmer and a plumber specializing in pump service.
Mr. Streets was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge for more than 25 years.
Survivors include a sister, Waunita Streets, of Andrew.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

A special friend of my mother's, who discovered him while researching her family tree in the late 70s. She visited him in Iowa several times and they corresponded for many years. He introduced her to many of his Streets cousins.
