Ralph and Galilee were first cousins.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday for Ralph S. Streets in the Clinton Chapel of the Snell-Zorning Funeral Home, Clinton. The Rev. Duane Manning, retired Methodist minister of Maquoketa, Iowa, will officiate. Burial will be in the Buckhorn Cemetery near Maquoketa.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Streets died August 28, 1985, at Mercy Hospital in Clinton, Iowa.

Ralph S. Streets was born October 21, 1916 in Jackson County, Iowa, the son of Ernest George and Sadie Jane (Edwards) Streets. He was once married to Lucille Kortum. He married Galilee Roberts on June 14, 1946 in Savanna, Illinois.

He had resided in Clinton since 1957. He was an iron worker and from 1979 to 1984, he was contract manager at Clinton County Area Solid Waste Agency. He was a member of Iron Workers Local No. 111 of Rock Island, Illinois, the Emulation Lodge No. 255, Holy Cross Commandery No. 10, and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Galilee; a daughter, Mrs. Mark (Joan) Davis of Germany; one son, Steven Ray Streets of LeClaire; a step-son, David Roberts of Paonia, Colorado; four grandchildren; his mother, Sadie Streets of Mechanicsville; a sister, Mrs. John (Evelyn) Bath of Davenport; and a brother, Leonard Streets of Anamosa.

He was proceded in death by his father, and a brother.
