Biography

Frank Streets was born in Lincolnshire, England.

Frank was born in Sturton by Stow, Lincolnshire, England, on September 19, 1852. He was the son of John Streets and Ann Smith. He was baptized on October 24, 1852, in Scawby, Lincolnshire.

Frank married Elizabeth Palfreeman on January 3, 1881, in York, Yorkshire, at St Lawrence. The couple would have at least seven children between 1872 and 1894. Frank and Elizabeth were enumerated in the 1881 census residing in Wilberfoss, Yorkshire (East Riding). Frank declared he was twenty seven, married, and a "Farm Laborer". (Note...a John Palfreeman, age six, marked son, is also at residence. Out of wedlock child to Elizabeth, or wrong designation?). They appear in the 1891 census still living in Wilberfoss. Four children at residence ages ten to under one year old. No record found for 1901. Frank and family appear in Skipwith, Yorkshire (East Riding). Two children and one grandchild at residence. Frank's occupation "Estate Laborer".

Frank passed away in 1936. His death was registered in the first quarter in Selby, Yorkshire.
