Biography
Blanche was born in 1869. She is the daughter of John Tayler and Julia Carey.
In 1907 she married a widower, John Shanks.
Blanche died in 1960, aged 91, in Dunedin, having spent the last part of her life at Ross Home on North Road, North East Valley.
Her ashes were scattered on 26 August 1960.
