Biography

Anna Maria Terranova (or "Terrano," or "Di Bella") is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Maestro Cristoforo Terranova and his first wife, Giacinta. The record of Anna Maria's first marriage calls her by the surname "di Bella," and that of her second calls her "Terrano." There is a married couple living in Corleone around the time I estimate Anna Maria is born, by the names of Maestro Cristoforo and Giacinta Terranova, who I presume to be Anna Maria's parents.Cascio-10 16:37, 18 July 2016 (EDT) This is the name by which Anna Maria is called in the marriage of her daughter, Gaetana, in 1769.

Anna Maria's father, Maestro Cristoforo Terranova, remarries in 1712, indicating that Giacinta has died.

Anna Maria marries at least twice, first to Maestro Paolo Nicolosi, son of the late Maestro Antonino and the living Maria, on 3 July 1718. This record calls her by the surname "di Bello," and indicates her parents have died.^[1]

Maestro Paolo and Anna Maria have at least one child, Maria (c. 1720), named after her paternal grandmother.

Anna Maria remarries to Saverio Laudato, from Bivona, son of Maestro Andrea and the late Rosa, on 3 June 1733. This record gives her surname as "Terrano." Because it also calls her the widow of Paolo Nicolosi and matches her parents' first names, I assume she is the same person.^[2]

Maria marries Giovanni Provenzano on 25 April 1740.^[3]

Anna Maria and Maestro Saverio have at least one child, Gaetana (c. 1749).
