Biography
Luverne was born May 28, 1930, at Walhalla to Carl and Edna (Burt) Tesmer. He grew up in the Walhalla area, where he attended school. From 1952 to 1954, he served in the U.S. Army. On October 22, 1954, he married Catherine A. Siguaw at Olga, ND. After their marriage they farmed in the Walhalla area. He drove bus for the Walhalla Public School from 1969 to 2010.
