Biography
In the 1880 US census, Laurence Thayer (age 24), Drayman, was with his mother Tryphosa (Gurney) Thayer and his two brothers in Fremont, Dodge, Nebraska. He was born in Massachusetts, and was single.[1]
Lawrence Elsander, Retired Mail Carrier, married, son of Elsander Thayer and Tryphosia Gurney, died (age 80) on 25 February 1936 in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho. He was born 12 July 1855 at Boston, Massachusetts. His wife was Euphemia M. Thayer. They lived in Lewiston. The informant was Ben Thayer of Lewiston, Idaho. Lawrence was buried at Lewiston. [2]
