38. M.T – Here lyes Isobel and Jannet Lamie. Erected by George Lamie, Weaver in Damhead their father 1791. Also Mary Thomson spouse to George Lambie d. 9.1.1816 aged 28y. Also the said George Lammie d. 23.3.1833 in the 94th year of his age 65th of his Eldership in the parish of Kirkconnell. Also Christian Lammie his daughter d. 1.12.1858 aged 74y (sic)

Here lyes Isobel and Jannet Lamies, erected by George Lamie, weaver in Damhead there father 1791. Mary Thomson spouse to George Lambie who died the 9th of January aged 72 years, also of the said George Lammie who died the 23rd March 1833 in the 94th year of his age and 65th of his eldership in the parish of Kirkconnel. Also of Christiana Lammie his daughter who died December (1st) 1858 aged 74 years.
