Biography

Ezekiel Toney is a part of US Black heritage.

Ezekiel Toney was born in April 1852 in Ohio, the son of Margaret Toney.

In 1870, he was enumerated as Ezekiel Norman, with his widowed mother Margaret (Toney) Norman, and step-sister Anais Norman.

Ezekiel married Margaret Guy on 13 June 1872 in Muskingum County, Ohio.

In 1900, he was a patient at the Athens State Hospital in Athens County, Ohio. He died there on 7 July 1922 and is buried at the hospital cemetery in grave 656.
