Richard A. Towsley, 88, of 4016 Route 11 S., Pulaski, died Thursday. He was born in Florence. He retired in 1976 as a truck driver for the town of Richland after 29 years. He was a farmer in the Pulaski area for 65 years. He was a member of Pulaski Senior Citizens. His wife, Florence, died in 1996.

Survivors: Three daughters, Shirley England of Sandy Creek, June Rivers of Mexico and Mary J. Mayers of Clay; four sisters, Jennie Thomas of Rome, Margaret McMahon of Sackets Harbor, Gladys Thomas of Watertown and Beverly Ross of Maryland; a brother, Vernon of Lee Center; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. Services: 10 a.m. Monday in St. John the Evangelist Church. Spring burial, South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours, 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, 4927 N. Jefferson St., Pulaski.
