James D. B. Tuck was born February 8, 1922. His home address was Ringold, McCurtain County, Oklahoma. His parents were Clurn Leonard Tuck and Ollie Mae (Dotson) (Tuck) Betts from Ringold, McCurtain County, Oklahoma.

He enlisted in the U. S. Army on December 19, 1942.

PVT. James Tuck was killed in action on February 19, 1945 in Germany, while serving in World War 11. He was killed just a few days after his 23rd birthday.
