Amelia was born about 1818
She married John Kidson.
Amelia, her husband John and their three children emigrated to New Zealand in 1841 on the Bolton. This ship left from Gravesend (a town on the Thames estuary) on 29 October 1841 and arrived at Nelson on 15 March 1842[1]
Several more children were born in New Zealand.
She passed away in 1903[2] and was buried in Wakapuaka Cemetery, Nelson, New Zealand.[3]
