Biography
Ernest was born in 1870.
He married Elizabeth Grylls Goldsack on 28 Sept 1898 at Glen Osmond. His marriage announcement in the Evening Journal reads: TUCK—GOLDSACK.—On the 8th September, at St. Saviour's Church, Glen Osmond, by the Rev. M. Williams, B.A., Ernest Lancelot Starkey, youngest son, of the late Rev. H. L. Tuck, to Elizabeth Grylls (Bessie), eldest daughter of Geo. Goldsack, Esq., Belle Vue, Glen Osmond.[1]
He passed away in 1944 in Henley Beach and was buried at St. Saviours Cemetery in Glen Osmond.[2] His death notice in The Advertiser reads: TUCK. —On October 22 (suddenly), at his residence, Ernest L. S., beloved husband of Elizabeth Tuck, of 264 Seaview road, Henley Beach, and loving father of Gwen (Mrs. E. E. Bayly), Hazel, George and Mavis (Mrs. Dan Smith), aged 74 years.[3]
