Biography
Caterinella Precepta Venetia was baptized in Matrice parish, Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, 13 February 1569, daughter of Joanello di Venetia; her sponsors were Vito Vasarella and Narda la Patello.[1] Cat.na eiux qdom. Joseph Pitrella died in her home, "elapsa nocte," 12 May 1628; and was buried on the grounds of Santa Maria Seminary, Sciacca, 13 May 1628, aged 55 [sic]: "Cat.na eiux qdom. Joseph Pitrella Ann: 55."[2]
Caterina di Venetia, daughter of Giovanni Venezia, married at Sciacca (Quartiere Matrice), p.o (1) October 1583, Gioseppi Pitruzello. The witnesses were Calogero di Venetia and Giovanni Vita.[3]
(Vincenzo) Giuseppe Petrozella was baptized in Matrice parish, Sciacca, 28 May 1559, son of Giovanni Petrozella; his sponsors were M.ro Barna Burzi and Vita Chiarello la Ant.lla.[4]
