Michael was born in 1937. He was the son of George Vieu. He passed away in 2003.

He was born July 20, 1937, in Napa, to George and Edith (Robles) Vieu. He was raised in Yountville and Truckee.
He and Linda (Lloyd) Vieu married in 1957 and raised their family in Yountville before moving to Napa.
Mike was a heavy equipment operator for the County of Napa, and then for Montelli Construction, before his health forced him to retire. He then enjoyed flea markets, always looking for that special treasure.
Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman and his greatest passion was taking his family outdoors camping and fishing, which he was doing the day of the stroke.
He will now join his mother, father, and youngest son, Randy Michael Vieu, who predeceased him.
Mike leaves behind his brothers and sisters, David (Barbara) Vieu, Tim (Ginny) Vieu, Shannon Vieu, Steve Birdsell, Sally Vieu, Bev (Davey) Harrell, Pam (Leonard) Hensley, Melody Birdsell and Tina Birdsell. Also surviving Mike is his best friend and ex-wife, Linda Vieu; his sons, Dennis (Judy) Vieu and John (Pam) Vieu; his daughters, Danielle (Bryon) Morris, and Cindy Alves and fiance Mike Krueger; 10 grandchildren: Leeann, Rebecca and Angela Vieu, Jennifer and Robert Vieu, Randy Michael Vieu, Michael (Adriana) Anthoney and Nick Alves; and five great-grandchildren: Tyler, Ania, Lil Rob, T.T. and Elianna. He also leaves his good friend Laura and friend and fishing buddy Jeff.
Private family arrangements are under the care of Tulocay Cemetery.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held Sept. 6 at Fuller Park. Please call the family for information, 252-3018.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Napa Valley, 3299 Claremont Way, Napa CA 94558."
