Biography
Esther was born in 1871, the daughter of Daniel Vince and Eliza Cooper. [1]
On 6 December 1899, she married Louis Manlein at Holy Trinity Church, Bridgewater, Victoria. [2] Her older sister, Annie, married Louie's brother, William, the same day. [3] Note: The marriage reg. recorded/transcribed Manlein as both "Marlein" and "Maitrin," rather than the correct "Manlein." Oh dear...
They had at least 2 children:-
- Ethel (1903-1982)
- Elsie (1905-1978).
Her husband died in Kalgoorlie on 27 October 1919, when he was crushed by a boiler. See "The Burbanks Accident." [4]
Esther died in 1941, age 70. [5] Her father is shown as David, rather than Daniel.
