Biography
James was born about 1680.
He married Sarah Unknown c1710
1715 he was a victualler in Earls Colne[1]
to the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of Great Coggeshall we the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of Earls Colne do hereby own and acknowledge James Vince and Sarah his wife and family to be inhabitants of Earls Colne in witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 5.6.1741 John Newton John Hatch John Harrington John Unwin witnessed by us Samuel Burton Henry Burton certificate allowed by two justices of the peace A Wear Robt Tweed[2]
In 1743 he was surveyed at Coggeshall[3]
