Biography

Frederick Vollmer was born to Carl Frederick Vollmer (1832-1916) and Rosine Dreher (1830-1892) in 1862, his birth registered in Morpeth, NSW^[1].

Frederick married Elizabeth Carter in 1891, the marriage registered in Morpeth, NSW^[2]

He died in January, 1938^[3][4], his death registered in East Maitland^[5] and is buried with his wife in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Hinton^[6].

MR. F. VOLLMER
The funeral of Mr. Frederick Vollmer left his late residence at Woodville, and was largely attended. Impressive services were held at the church and graveside, the officiating clergyman being Rev. W. E. K. Burkitt, who was assisted by Mr. C. A. D. Brown, diocesan registrar.
The chief mourners were Mrs. Elizabeth Vollmer (widow), John, Harry, and Gus Vollmer (brothers), Mrs. A. Thomson (sister), Mr. A. Thomson (brother-in-law), Mrs. Will and Mrs. Harry Vollmer (sisters in law).
