Biography
John was born in 1791.[1] Hinshaw's unpublished index shows his place of birth as North Carolina however on the 1850 Census his place of birth is listed as Pennsylvania. He married Sarah Ballard 19 Feb 1823 at Wayne County, Indiana. She passed away in 1832.

He married second Susanna Harris (b 5 Mar 1797) and with her had a daughter Sarah b 14 Feb 1837.[1]
John's date and place of death are currently undocumented. 1870 is frequently seen but entirely undocumented. His last public record is found in the 1850 US Census when he is living in Fairfield, Ohio.[3]
