Mary Walcott was born on November 6, 1730 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, daughter of Jonathan Walcott (1700–~1788) and Elizabeth Smith (1700– ).

Mary (33) married Asa Putnam (50) (born on July 31, 1714 in Danvers, Massachusetts; son of Josiah Putnam and Ruth (Hutchinson) Putnam) on August 21, 1764 in Danvers, Essex. Their children were:

• Mary Putnam (1765–1840)
• Elizabeth Putnam (1767–1853)

Mary died after 1767 in Province of Massachusetts Bay, aged about 35.
