Biography


Frederick Walser, son of Casper and Margaretha Walser, was born on 25 Dec. 1760 in Pennsylvania.[1]

He married Margaretha Ernest and together they had the following children:

  1. John Walser b. c. 1786 married Lemma
  2. Elizabeth Walser b. 1783 married Jacob Harwood
  3. George C. Walser b. 1790 married Rachel McKinney
  4. David Walser b. 1794 married Elizabeth Van Middlesworth
  5. Mary "Polly" Walser b. 1794 married (1) Jarret wood, (2) William Tucker
  6. Thomas Walser b. 1794 married Rebecca Reed
  7. Britain Franklin Walser b. 1799 married Jane M. Hutchinson
  8. Henry C. Walser b. 1803 married Elizabeth Warner
  9. Jane Walser b. 1805 married Peter Middleton Woods

Frederick died on 24 Dec. 1837 at Davidson County, North Carolina and was buried at Walser Cemetery beside the Yadkin River. In 1976 the the headstone was moved to Yadkin College Methodist Church Cemetery, Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina. His has a photo of his headstone, biographical material and links to those of family members.[3][4]<[5][6][1]
