Biography

Edward, a native of Yorkshire, was born in 1791. According to the 1841 census he was born in Yorkshire, in later censuses Gilly More is given as place of birth. The 1841 census gives his wife as Jane and 4 children present^[1]. By 1851 his wife is Mary, Jane presumably having died.

He was still living at the 1861 census. ^[2] He is probably this Edward, died 1874: Effects under 100 pounds 10 October The will of Edward Warrener late of Strensall in the County of York Yeoman who died 21 September 1874 at Strensall was proved at York by John Warrener of Strensall Wheelwright the Son the Sole Executor^[3]
