Children: Jet (named Jeltje in baptism record in 1888), married Lammert Anthonie Mensinga from Slochteren, an office worker (kantoorbediende), lived in Groningen, he was not doing “strong” (well?) in 1947),

Boukelina (Line) Jacoba (1891, married Wijtze de Hoog from Oostdongeradeel, (his profession at marriage was listed as Komm. Rijkbel; maybe that means he was a Communist?) in 1919; had 2 children Fokke (1923, a teacher, played the violin) & Tetie (1932, played piano well), see under Nellie Kooijman for more information),

Henderika (1890 - March 10 1944, lived in Groningen, died after being sick 4 days; married Rijkel Drolenga from Warfhuizen, Leens, a jailor (gevangenbewaarder), in 1917),

Alida (married Mr. Panman who died in 1940, took care of her father in 1946; by this time all her children were married, She lived in Stadskanaal, sharing a house with another woman in 1948.
