Biography
Emilie was born in 1909 in Russia to August and Julianna (Hintz) Welke. Her mother died in Russia in 1911. She immigrated with her father in 1923. She married Daniel Seib in 1927. They lived in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and had two children. Daniel died in October 1932.
Millie married Albert Klein in 1935 and they farmed at (W1/2 29-33-W2) in Prairie Rose municipality, north of Esk, Saskatchewan. They had three daughters and one son. They lived on the farm until 1950 when they moved into Lanigan. They remained there for four years. Millie and Albert went their separate ways. Millie then moved to Guernsey, SK where her father lived with her and her daughters. In 1957, Millie moved to the Stewart Valley area in SK and lived there until 1986 when she moved to Calgary, Alberta. Millie passed away in October 1987 in Calgary and was buried in Esk Lutheran Cemetery, north of Esk, SK. [1]
