Biography
Jeltje was born in 1806 and baptized on Nov 9, 1806. She was the daughter of Wybe Frankes and Ytje Gerbens. The spelling of her last name has been set to the spelling mostly used later on, but it can also be given as Wybes.[1]
Jeltje married 24 year old Popke (Sjoerds) Bakker (1800-1881) at 17.[2]
