Biography
James A Wilburn was born about 1805 in North Carolina, United States, son of Arrival Wilburn (~1790–<1890) and Morning Wallen (1784–<1850).
James (27) married Sarah Jane Dunn (12) (born in 1820 in Speedwell, Claiborne, Tennessee, USA; daughter of Francis Marion Dunn and Mary (Lynch) Dunn) in 1833 in Madison, Arkansas. Their daughter was Manervia Elizabeth Wilburn (1835–1928).
In 1850, James (44) was living in Prairie, Franklin with his daughter, Manervia Willman (13); and James R Willman (45), Sarah Willman (30), Martha Willman (16), Mary Willman (12), Samuel Willman (9), Francis Willman (8), Lovisa Willman (6), Catherine Willman (1), and Catherine Dunn (13). [1]
James died in February, 1854 in Prairie Township, Franklin, aged about 48.
