Biography
Melville Winfield was the second child of parents Gladys Gwendolyn (Probert) Winfield and Charles Matthew Osborne Winfield.
Melsille Winfield was born on the 24th of July 1921 and baptised on the 26th of September that year somewhere in Bengal Presidency, India.[1]
Melville Reginald Winfield died on the 28th of July 1923 and was buried the next day in Bitragunta. He was age 2; cause: bronchitis; "Son of Charles Matthew Winfield and Winifred Gladys Gwendolyn his wife."[2][3]
Research Notes
His first name is spelt as 'Melsille' on the baptism document; but they do innacurrate spellings are not uncommon.
