Biography

"Hazel A. Odash, age 78, resident of Nisswa, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Joseph's Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gene and their nine children- Greg (Karen), Char (Peter) Malinosky, Diane Odash, MiMi Thurlow, Klink (Joanne), Cyndi (Jeff) Olson, Katie (Tim) Hales, Jackie (Bill) Bernstrom, Ron (Jocelyn); 3-brothers, 2-sisters-in-law, and numerous cousins in Norway. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2-brothers, a sister, a grandson and a son-in-law. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Wed. March 24 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa with Father George Zeck officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa. Visitation will be at the church 5-7 Tuesday with parish prayers 7 PM Tuesday. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning the hour before services. Memorials are preferred to Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis or St. Christopher's Church. Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd"
