It appears that after the death of his first wife and child in 1903 that Edgar was remarried and had moved to Colorado by 1910. He is found there in Paonie with his wife, Jessie in the 1910 Census. He seems to have lived different places in Colorado but settled in Alamosa by 1930, where he spent the remainder of his life. There are listings in the Colorado Census every term through 1950.

I have found no other record of his burial, except the following newspaper clipping---.

Services Held Thurs. For Brother. Bryan Wolfenbarger returned home Sunday night from Alamosa, Colo., where he attended funeral services Thursday for his brother, James Edgar Wolfenbarger, who passed away Oct. 10 in Alamosa, at the age of 80 years, 19 months and 26 days. Funeral services were conducted at the Butler-Showalter Funeral Chapel and burial made in Memory Gardens cemetery at Monte Vista, Colo. Mr. Wolfenbarger is survived by his widow, two daughters, and the following eleven brothers and sisters: Curt of Shedd, Ore.; Josie Nelson, of Oakland, Calif.; Kate Owsley of Kalispel, Mont.; Ina Houser, of Glendale, Calif.; Charley, of Boise, Idaho; Elsie Hughes of Bakersfield, Calif.; Shuff of Farmington, N. M.; Bryan of Wheaton; Dewey of Boise, Idaho; Twila Estell of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Opal Storer of Portland, Ore.
