Daughters of the American Revolution
Reuben Woodin is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A128519.

Reuben Timothy Woodin was born on January 3, 1765 in Dutchess, New York, son of Timothy Woodin (1741–1816).[1]

According to Patience Wooden's's pension application, "He enlisted in the spring of 1782 and served nine months as a private in Captains Henry's and Peter B. Tsarse's Companies, Colonel Marinus Willett's New York Regiment, and was out on scouting parties against the Tories and Savages." [2]

Reuben (20) married Patience Landers (19) (born on January 25, 1766 in Stillwater, Province of New York) on December 18, 1785 in Stillwater, New York. They had 11 children, including:

In 1790, Reuben was living in Half Moon, Albany, New York. [3]

In 1800, Reuben was living in Halfmoon, Saratoga, New York. [4]

Reuben died on January 31, 1822 in Crescent, Saratoga, United States, aged 57. He was buried in Union Cemetery, Crescent.[1]
