Biography

Elizabeth Wrottesley (d. 1521),^[1] is the daughter of William Wrottesley of Reading, Berkshire (will: 26 Dec 1512, proved: 04 Feb 1513).^[2][3] She is the first wife of Sir William Askew / Ayscough (1489-1541) of Stallinborough, Lincolnshire. They were married before 1512,^[4] and are mentioned in her father's will.

Beilin (1996), also identified Elizabeth's father as William Wrottesley, (p. xvii).[2]
