Biography
JOHN TALBOT, Knt., married (1st) MARGARET TROUTBECK. His wife, Margaret, was living 11 July 1521. He married (2nd) ELIZABETH WROTTESLEY, They had two sons, Gilbert and John, and four daughters, Margaret, Elizabeth, Ursula, and Bridget (wife of John Talbot, Knt.). SIR JOHN TALBOT died testate 10 September 1549, and was buried at Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. His widow, Elizabeth, married (2nd) EDWARD LYTTLETON (LITTLETON). She died testate 10 May 1558.

While it is true that Elizabeth’s marriage was after 1521 (the death year for John’s first wife Margaret) it may be better to give the date as before 1537 (the birth year for daughter Margaret), otherwise she appears to be married at age 11, vs. 27.
