Biography

Major Richard Wrottesley was a member of the aristocracy in England.

He was the son of Hon. Walter Bennet Wrottesley and Kate May Harris.^[1]He was born on the 7th of July 1918 at Chapel En Le Frith, Derbyshire, England.^[2][3]He was married three times, firstly to Roshnara Barbara Wingfield-Stratford, daughter of Barbara Elizabeth Errington and Esmé Cecil Wingfield-Stratford on the 25th of January 1941 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England.^[4]They were divorced in 1949. He married secondly Joyce Marion Wallace, daughter of Dare Frederick Alexander Wallace, on 9 December 1949 at Westminster, London, England.^[5]They were divorced in 1953. He married for a third time Mary Ada Van Echten Tudhope, daughter of Edgar Dryden Tudhope, on the 5th of March 1955 in Cape Town, South Africa.^[6] He died on the 23rd of October 1977 at age 59 at Westminster, London, England.^[7]
