Biography

Thomas Wycherley was christened by his parents George and Mary on June 14th 1826^[1]

In 1841, 15 year old Thomas is living with his parents in "Back Lane", Wellington, Shropshire^[2]

The marriage of Sarah Hill to Thomas Wycherley was recorded in Madeley in the second quarter of 1849^[3]

In 1851, 24 year old Thomas has taken up his father's profession of blacksmith and is living in King Street, Wellington with his wife Sarah^[4]

Thomas Wycherley died in 1854 in Wellington, Shropshire^[5]

Research Notes

It is not certain that the Thomas who died in 1854 is this one, but there is no further mention of a Thomas Wycherley in Wellington in the census records after 1851 and a widow named Sarah Wycherley marries again in 1856^[6] so it is probably this Thomas.
