From the image page: Jerry Barry (seated) and friend. He was part of an entertainment corps, after he was wounded in France. This may have been a publicity photo. It appears to be a map they are discussing. Written to his mother March 9th 1919: “Was to have come home in Jan. But was transferred to an Entertainment Company and will stay for a while. ‘Expect to see more of this country, Germany and France. Will tell you more when I get back to dear old Sacramento, Mother.’
