If I think I have a match do I wait until that person contacts me before I add?

If I have maybe a match do I not enter that person until I hear from the person with the match?

Definitely don't add a new person if you're pretty certain that a profile page already exists for them. If the profile manager doesn't respond, follow the steps here:

It would be fantastic if this wiki infrastructure helped profile managers keep track of non-responsive requests.  Even something as simple as emailing a copy of each request back to the originator when opened, and when enabled (so I could match them up in an email client, and recognized when there are requests unanswered).
