For Native Americans (Indigeans) what do you use for a last (family) name?

If she was born at a time when her tribe did not use surnames, then we use the name of her tribe as the LNAB.

This is true for indigenous people in what is currently the United States.  Not sure if Canada follows this naming convention. Don't know about other parts of the America's.
