Elizabeth Freelove to Andrew Reed

Question

They had one daughter we know of, Mary Polly Reed Smith. According to her death certificate, Andrew Reed and Elizabeth Freelove are her parents. According to Census records, Mary Polly indicates she was born in Montgomery County, Virginia. Her headstone indicates she was born in September 1828. If anyone has any information or guidance regarding the marriage of Andrew Reed and Elizabeth Freelove they are willing to share, it would be much appreciated.

Hi Anon, I want to make sure I am on the right track here.  I find Polly Reed married to Henry Smith and having a son James Willis Smith (born 1863).  Am I correct? And you are looking for the parents of Polly Reed?

Yes, you hve th correct Polly Reed. Actually, I am looking for Mary Polly Reed Smith's grandparents. According to her death certificate, her parents were Andrew Reed and Elizabeth Freelove. I am seeking their parents (Polly Reed's grandparents). Any information you have and would be willing to share would be appreciated.

I added the death cert to James Willis Smith.  May I suggest you create profiles for his parents Polly and Henry.  And then profiles for Andrew and Elizabeth. And go back in time.  I will see if I can fill in some gaps.
