This has been messing with me for a few years. I have 2 birth records and 2 baptismal. All with the correct Name (Michael Murray), parents and locations. But no dates match. Attached are the 2 birth 2 baptismal 2 original birth certificate and the 1901 census with the Michael I'm looking for Murray-17700. If anyone has any ideas or insight it would be fantastic.

Birth 2/1/1895

Birth 2/1/1992

Baptismal 9/28/1995

Baptismal 2/24/1991

Original Birth 2/1/1992

Original Birth 10/20/1895

Murray / Moran 1901 CEN

The 1901 census you posted has Dominick born 1851 and married to Bridgit.  But on Michael Murray's profile you have parents as Dominick born 1861 married to Mary. Are these two different Dominicks that both had sons named Michael?

It is possible that the first Michael died and the subsequent child was also named Michael. This was not uncommon in families, especially if they were naming the child after a relative.

Thats where I'm at right now. But I'm scratching my head on why when you match up the 2 1895 doc and the 2 earlier docs the Baptism is earlier than the birth on both. Strange right? I agree though I was sticking with the 1895's but couldn't find any later docs with those date. We know he was married to a Bridget Chambers but no marriage records. Thanks for your response.
Sorry it didn’t resolve anything.  By the way because Wikitree is global dates are expressed by day/month/year, unless you expand it to say Mar 2, 2020 it would read 2/3/2020.

I agree with Marion about a second child with the same first name if the first child died young.

My first impulse was to go to the Nat'l Lib. of Ireland Catholic Church records, but they didn't have baptisms for those dates for the parish of Burrishoole in the Archdiocese of Tuam in County Mayo.   The Family History Library, however Does have baptisms for those dates on microfilm.   Since you have baptism dates, you may be able to get printouts for both.
