Do I add Daniel Johnson to assumed parents with no proof?

Question

Everything in me tells me that Elijah Johnson and Susannah Martin are the parents of Daniel including DNA matches, but I have literally no proof that I am correct.  Do I dare attach him to them without proof? I have Dna matches that lead to this area over and over. I just know I'm right...or somewhere in the vacinity, but have been afraid to attach him for fear of finding out that I'm wrong.

WikiTree allows for the attachment to uncertain parents, and they should be marked as uncertain:

I have a Daniel Johnson" who I have as my second great-grandfather.   His son, William James Johnson, is a Civil War veteran from South Carolina.   We found his Dad using 1850 Census records.   William J. JOHNSON is reported as his son.   Those records are convincing, but for others, I do an Ancestry DNA match search, looking for "common ancestors" and "public family trees" as filters.   Then I do a search, looking for the desired surname and location/state.  By using this technique I have identified even fifth or sixth cousins, further confirming a suspected ancestor.  Dowden-595.
