As an anthropological geneticist, I have read the blurb, but not the research papers themselves. Europe has millions of autosomes as well as those embedded in the Y- and/or X-chromosomes. Gene flow research is slow in comparison to the actual flow of genes from population to population. Like genealogy, it's all done after the fact.
