Does anyone have the cause and "story" behind John Hacker's death at such a young age? (22 years old)

John Hacker, son of Julius Hacker and Easter Burns, Born December 8, 1866, died February 6, 1889. Married Nancy Ann Hensley, had two children: Julius Hacker and Rebecca Jane Hacker. He was born in Clay County Kentucky and was buried along the Red Bird River in the Hensley Family Cemetery outside of Ermine, Kentucky on Hwy 66 in Clay County Kentucky.

I've looked a little at this family, but it isn't mine and I don't know much about it, didn't get a lot of response when I asked a previous question.  Their immigrant ancestor was German, another Julius.
