Seeking information on Dorothy McCollough

Hi everyone I am back with another question. Several months ago I came across a name that was unfamiliar to me. You see, I was searching through some census records from the 1930 census. Census records from that particular year, list my great grandparents Austin and Lilly Williams as well as well their children. However, there is also a girl listed in their household named Dorothy McCullough. When I first discovered this, I immediately searched to see if I could find out who she was as well as if I could find any additional information about her. My initial search yielded no results and I actually forgot about her until recently. This is because I was looking at the family of one of my dna matches and I noticed that there were some McCulloughs in his family tree. In actuality, I have very little information about Dorothy but here is what I know. On the 1930 census she is listed as 12 years old, so I suppose that her date of birth could vary between 1915 and 1918 and that she and both of her parents were born in Alabama. Additionally, she is also listed as the niece of my great grandparents. On another note, I also searched the 1940 census and other records and I was unable to find any additional information about her. I believe one explanation could be that she got married and that her last name possibly changed and that she had moved out of of my great grandparents home by the time the 1940 census had been taken. As always, if anyone has any information that they can share about Dorothy, or can help me to find out who she was or can help me to figure out the family connection, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dorothy married Jack Ringstaff 10 Jun 1934. She said she was 18. (She was 16 as can be seen on the 1940 Census more below).

Dorothy 1930Census listed as Niece. Meaning she was

a daughter of one of Williams sisters. See if you can find

in 1920 census.Also look for a McCullough marry  a

Williams.
