Can someone create something like soundex for matches?

There's lots of last names that migrate their spelling over generations. Makes it really hard to find matches. Could we have something like soundex, or at least have matches  that find other spellings I have entered in the 'other last name' field?

Hi Toby,

Adding something like soundex to search is a good idea and it's on the to-do list.

FWIW, searches should consider alternate last names. However, if there are search results where the current or last name at birth matches exactly, those will appear first.
